If you made it to this webpage, I'm going to assume one of two things: you either want to teach yourself to become a video game developer, or you're already learning the trade, and you want to become better at what you do. In either case, you are right where you belong. This page should give you a little insight on how to get the best out of your stay.

This post won’t be very educational or informative, but I feel the need to get this off my chest before I dive into any posts with actual code.

This was the first post that I wrote when I started this blog and I wanted to give everyone an update. I changed plans and decided to go with Java as my first language. If you want to find out why, check out the right language choice.

In my previous post about what programming language I should learn, I decided to go with C++ as the path to my first video game. If you’ve ever tried to make this same decision, I’m sure you also got a HUGE range of answers…

Behold the first ‘episode’ of the “What I Learned” series that I, quite literally, JUST came up with. The plans for this series is to show you guys, the readers, what lessons that I learned after all is said and done with each game. Because games can take quite a looooong time to finish, the episodes in this series might be few and far between. But, don’t worry.
